We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Lockport, IL. As a Full-Time School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop effective intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents on managing challenging behaviors and fostering positive learning environments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, discuss interventions, and make recommendations for educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
