Full Time Overnight Long Term Care Pharmacist

Care One is an independently owned long-Term Care pharmacy. We tailor our services for our customers. Prior long-Term Care pharmacy preferred and IV experience a plus. The Pharmacist team at Care One, under the direction of the Pharmacist In Charge, provides clinical oversight and verification of prescriptions for residents of nursing homes and ALF facilities. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment and the ability to work in a team environment is key. Strong customer service to guide and support nurses is also an important part of this position.

Prior experience with Framework software is a huge plus.

This is an overnight shift from 9PM-5AM Monday through Friday

Requirements:

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in IL
• Ability to work well within a team structure, LTC pharmacists work as part of a team with pharmacy technicians, billing staff as well as other pharmacists
• Strong desire to provide the best service to our customer base
• Flexibility, ability to jump in where needed as needed throughout the work day
• Framework software experience and Long Term Care pharmacy experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills
