Full Time Nanny

Job Description:

Sugarplum Nannies, a leading nanny agency, is currently seeking an educated and experienced nanny with a deep understanding of toddler developmental milestones, childhood education, nurturing, and interactive engagement. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate into the family dynamic, providing exceptional childcare for a toddler while also attending to household tasks.

Location: Concord, MA

Compensation: $28-30 per hour

Benefits:

- 2 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Seeking a long-term nanny

Vaccinated: Yes

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4-4:30 PM (flexible on other days except Tuesdays and Fridays)

Children: One Toddler

Pets: Two cats and one dog

Key Responsibilities:

• Expertise in developmental milestones: Understand and implement age-appropriate activities to support the child's growth.
• Consistent routines: Maintain nap times, feeding schedules, and establish a calming bedtime routine.
• Engage in interactive activities: Plan outings, engage in imaginative play, and encourage learning through play.
• Facilitate nap time: Create a soothing environment for rest and establish a consistent nap routine.
• Gentle parenting while ensuring safety: Employ nurturing and empathetic approaches to discipline while prioritizing the child's safety at all times.
• Light household duties: Assist with toddler's laundry, dishwasher, and playroom cleanup.
• Household duies: Errands, grocery shopping, and picking up dogs or cats from vet.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Age: 21 years or older

- Experience: Required minimum of 3 years in toddler care and nannying. Newborn experience is a plus.

- Driving: Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean record

- Background Check: No criminal history

- Language Proficiency: Complete proficiency in English

- References: Minimum of 3 impeccable childcare references

- Certifications: Up-to-date CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to update)

- Education: College degree or currently enrolled in college

- Non-smoker

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
