SalaryFamily in Cambridge is seeking a nurturing and loving nanny for their 7-week-old baby boy, who will be approximately 3.5 months old at the start of the position. The schedule entails Monday from 12-5, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00am-6:00pm, Wednesday from 7:00am-12:00pm, and Friday from 8-4:00, totaling 40 guaranteed hours per week. While occasional weekend or date night assistance is appreciated but not mandatory, no travel is required, and the family has no dietary restrictions. They have one car that will not require care, and parking is available if the nanny has a vehicle. The father will work from home three days a week. Additional responsibilities include baby laundry, sanitization of baby products, meal prep for the baby's solid food, and changing linens. The family desires a caregiver who is nurturing, musically inclined, and knowledgeable about developmental milestones, with a warm demeanor and ability to engage the baby in various activities. The start date is mid-April with some flexibility.
Compensation: $30-$35 per hour with flexibility
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (nanny chooses 1 week), 5 paid sick days, paid major holidays, annual raises and reviews, $200/month healthcare stipend
Requirements:
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Have a minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience that can be verified
- Holds a valid driver’s license
- Able to provide a minimum of 3 outstanding references from prior childcare positions
- Be fully fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States
- Clean driving record
