With a charming one-year-old boy who radiates joy, the focus of this role centers on providing attentive care and fostering his growth and development. The schedule, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 6 pm, offers stability with guaranteed weekly hours ranging from 45 to 50, ensuring a comfortable balance for both the family and the nanny. While occasional weekends for date nights are appreciated, they're not mandatory, providing flexibility for personal time.
In this role, driving isn't required and there is no parking available. A furry companion, the family's medium-sized dog, adds to the household dynamic, although no care duties are necessary. With Dad working from home on Mondays and Fridays and Mom in and out during the afternoons, the household maintains a lively atmosphere. Summer excursions to Rhode Island create opportunities for additional assistance, contributing to a well-rounded experience. The ideal candidate embodies traits of ease, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, capable of maintaining a balanced routine while incorporating outdoor activities and stimulating outings. The start date is flexible, targeting March or April, with initial meetings conducted over Zoom, offering a seamless transition into this enriching opportunity. Requirements:
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Have a minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience that can be verified
- Holds a valid driver’s license
- Able to provide a minimum of 3 outstanding references from prior childcare positions
- Be fully fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States
- Clean driving record
