Full-Time Fully Remote Legal Assistant

Blake Jones Law, PC is seeking a full-time, Fully Remote Legal Assistant to support approximately 1-2 attorneys in the practice of Plaintiff’s employment law. We specialize in wage and hour Class/PAGA actions and FEHA matters. I started my own firm in 2023 as a solo practitioner after working for 23 years practicing law, primarily as a partner at large defense firms, and then managing a plaintiff’s employment practice for several years. We are growing rapidly, with a steady stream of cases, and are looking to add staff and attorneys. Qualifications include:

· At least 3 years as Legal Assistant in civil litigation in CA, with a preference for experience in employment litigation;

· Proficient in legal document preparation, including captions, discovery shells, tables for motions, etc.

· Strong organizational and calendaring skills;

· Proficient in electronic filings in CA state and federal courts, including CM/ECF, One Legal, and CaseAnywhere;

· Proficiency using Clio Case Management, Word, Excel and Adobe software;

· Ability to multi-task and triage to meet deadlines;

· Resides in the Pacific Standard Time Zone or willing to work PST office hours;
