- Must have computer skills, Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is helpful but not a requirement

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $18-$26 per hour
Expected hours: 40-43 hours per week. Less in the summer when the office is closed on Fridays from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Monday: 7:00AM to 5:15-5:30PM
Tuesday: 7:00AM to 5:15-5:30PM
Wednesday: 12:00PM - 8:00-8:30PM
Thursday: 7:00AM to 5:15-5:30PM
Friday: 7:00AM - 12:30-1:00PM
The start time and end time can be flexible depending on the day, but we are a patient centered practice and if there is a patient who has an emergency and can only be seen at the end of the day we will work later to get the patient out of discomfort if needed.

Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessment and charting during dental examinations
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with the dental team and patients
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Take digital X-rays of patients' teeth
- Assist with medical coding for dental procedures
- Operate Trios scanner for digital impressions used for clear braces orthodontics, implant planning, cosmetic planning
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Provide chairside dental assisting during procedures
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment
Skills:
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology for effective communication
- Experience with Eaglesoft software for managing patient records
- Ability to take digital X-rays accurately
- Familiarity with medical coding practices in a dental setting
- Competence in using CAD systems for dental applications
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Expertise in dental assisting techniques during procedures
- Skill in implementing infection control measures to prevent the spread of diseases

Expected hours: 38 – 43 per week
