Purpose
This position provides Customer Service to every customer entering the bank.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Is responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer transactions
- Receive checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verifies amounts, examines checks for proper endorsement, and enters deposits into computer system
- Cash customer checks upon proper verification
- Balance cash drawer daily and reports any discrepancies to supervisor
- Cross-sell financial institution services
- Maintain performance within Teller Standards
- Ensure that all financial institution policies and procedures are followed.
- Adhere to all Bank Secrecy Requirements including but not limited to Customer Identification Program, Currency Transaction Reporting, Suspicious Activity, OFAC
- Assist customers with daily ATM & Debit Card related problems
- Open New accounts and ensures compliance with Customer Identification Program and Policy
- Answer phone calls and transfer to requested individual
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor to include filing, completing reports, clerical duties
