MONTECITO, CA – A lovely family located in Montecito is seeking to hire a long-term and seasoned infant Nanny that can do FULL-TIME hours with a schedule of MONDAY-FRIDAY from 8am-4pm (40 hrs a week guaranteed) via payroll. Hourly rate is between $30-$35 hr, DOE. Baby is almost 1-years old.
Pets: two small dogs
Vaccine requirement: Covid-19, TDap, and Flu
Nanny duties: make sure their daughter is engaged during wake windows - story time, walks, outdoors, sensory exploration, playing with new toys appropriate for furthering development. Ensure she keeps a relatively consistent schedule of sleeping and eating. Making sure her clothing is clean and organized, as well as her room and play areas. Monitoring her food stock, diapers, wipes, etc to ensure there are no gaps in supply. Light laundry. Food prep for the baby and parents is a plus. Occasional overnights and traveling. Occasional weekend work. They need someone who is enthusiastic about their position and is a trustworthy infant caregiver. Responsibilities will include all childcare-related duties such as but not limited to: maintaining a feeding schedule, keeping up with baby supplies, child-related household tasks, transporting the child, and assisting the child throughout his developmental stages.
Ideal Nanny: They'd like someone who is young and energetic, who is kind, gentle, sweet, patient and fun. Experience with newborns and toddlers is a plus as they are planning to have another baby soon. Multi-lingual a plus, but not a requirement. Early childhood education and preschool experience is a bonus. They are looking for someone excited to come in and make a long-term commitment to their family, is organized and tidy, comfortable with parents working in and out of the home, and can watch multiple children at a time as they would like to expand their family sometime soon. Most importantly, they want a Nanny who is excited to show up to work each day, is truly genuinely passionate about young children and helping families.
