JOB SUMMARY
Messer Financial Group is a fast-growing Field Marketing Organization (FMO) in Charlotte, NC, looking for a Fullstack Developer to join our expanding IT team! As a Fullstack Developer you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Angular+SpringBoot based applications. This role will begin focused on Backend tasks, with growth towards a well-rounded Fullstack tasking. The right candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and effectively communicate with business partners to extract detailed requirements and collaborate on potential technical solutions to address complex business issues. This is the ideal position for a developer who thrives in a collaborative team environment and enjoys interacting with business representatives and system users. This is an in-office position.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Development, testing, and maintenance of web applications.
- Assist in deployments and support end users in the release of new functionality/applications.
- Other duties as assigned by department manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required skills:
- Strong knowledge of the Java/Kotlin.
- Experience with Spring and web-application development.
- Fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
- Some experience with Angular framework.
- Database fundamentals.
- Some level of familiarity with at least one testing tool/framework.
- Passion for problem-solving, software development, and learning new skills with a great team.

Financial –This is a salaried position with a targeted total annual compensation of $70,000 – $80,000 based on skills and experience and includes a profit-sharing target of 15 – 20% of base annual compensation. Profit sharing is based upon the company’s financial performance and individual contribution to company success.
Other – Health and life insurance, dental, vision, critical illness, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with generous employer contribution of 8% of total compensation (4% Safe Harbor, and 4% profit sharing), and other ancillary insurance products. First-year employees receive approximately 30 paid days off which includes holidays, PTO, and sick time!

Business hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. Additional time at work may be required to meet critical deadlines. Salaried employees are expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
