Purpose of Job: Fills, merchandises, and rotates Pepsi products in full-service vending machines.
Job Duties:
- Maintains good customer service, communication, and delivery of products to vending machines.
- Merchandises and rotates products in full-service vending machines according to PBV standards and customer needs.
- Safely operates assigned route truck according to all company, state, and federal DOT regulations.
- Delivers products to vending machines located in accounts utilizing a two wheel cart.
- Collects payments from vending machines and reconciles route at the close of the day.
- Reviews usage patterns and recommends flavor switch-outs.
- Services accounts according to schedule and maintains cleanliness.
- Uses Handheld Computer to follow route and enters key information.
- Follows company rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED+.
- Regular license (under 26,000 lbs).
- One (1) year route sales experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift 85 pounds easily and able to push/pull product on a hand cart continuously throughout the day.
- Detail-oriented and have numerical aptitude.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Able to organize and prioritize task.
- Able to successfully complete PBV driving test and meet driving standards.
- Able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
- Constantly (67%-100%) required to walk, stand, lift up to 85 pounds, and push/pull 300 pounds using a hand cart.
