Job description

We are looking for a full-time Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis from 8:00 am-5:00 pm and to perform a variety of administrative tasks. Our office is located in the NE heights, near Paseo del Norte and Louisiana, and has 16 professional suites.

Job Description:

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. You will welcome guests to our business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including redirecting phone calls and distributing correspondence.

To be successful in this position, you should have a pleasant personality, be reliable, punctual and professional, both in attitude and appearance. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus.

Ultimately, a receptionist's duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

Receptionist Responsibilities:

  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
  • Providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Aiding existing clients with scheduling
  • Receiving, sorting and distributing daily mail/deliveries
  • Preparing outgoing mail/FedEx, UPS, USPS
  • Opening office in the morning, including general housekeeping
  • Ensuring that the reception and common areas are clean, tidy and presentable
  • Keeping updated records of office expenses and costs
  • Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying and faxing.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • High school degree
  • Must be able to pass a background check, including drug screen.
  • Experience in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
