Job Description
We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper for full time employment in a small office environment located in Roanoke, VA
JOB DUTIES:
· Full Charge Bookkeeping
· Full Payroll processing utilizing Quickbooks accounting software
· Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual reports and tax payments (multi state)
· Processing employee eligibility and deductions for benefits
· Processing payroll advances and reimbursements (travel and perdiem)
· Processing unemployment claims
· Processing W2’s and 1099’s
· Maintain up to date employee records
· Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
· Bank Statement reconciliation
· Benefits & HR
· Answer telephones
· All duties are to be performed from our office in Roanoke, VA
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principals and financial statements
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting
· Proficient in Microsoft office
· A minimum of 2 years’ experience with Quickbooks accounting software
· Ability to multitask
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong people skills
· Professional telephone etiquette
