Bookkeeper

Thompson's Bookkeeping & Consulting is a small firm that has been in business for over 3 years and is on the rise. We are looking for a Bookkeeper to perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and with a team. The Bookkeeper will also be able to work with accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record all transactions accurately and submit reports to appropriate parties
• Prepare journal entries, invoices, receipts, and bank deposits
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other credit card accounts
• Perform month end close preparation for various clients
• Process payroll for various employers
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Skills:
· Proven bookkeeping experience or relevant experience
· Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks) or similar accounting software packages

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
