Jay Group is looking for a Fulfillment Supervisor to support 1st Shift Operations.
This position will lead a team of direct reports and temporary associates to meet the business needs in a fast pace, quality orientated environment. The role is responsible for achieving production goals and motivating employees while building a strong team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the movement and storage of materials, the picking and packing of materials, and collation of materials.
- Interprets specifications of jobs and projects, develops optimal production line(s) or processes, and explains to Team Leaders and Production Workers and assigns duties.
- Responsible for achieving production goals and ensuring quality of products being shipped.
- Develop a strong team by mentoring and coaching.
- Administrate corporate policy consistently and follow appropriate disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Approve time in payroll system.

- Two years previous supervisory experience in warehouse of light industrial environment required.
- A people person who has the ability to build a strong team with direct hires and temporary associates is imperative.
- Must be detail oriented; possess good communication skills, (written & oral), and good math skills.
- Candidate must possess good organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Must be mechanically adept and be able to work quickly and accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, previous experience with a Warehouse Management System is preferred.
- This role could require travel for training and development.
