Job Title: Fulfillment Operations Associate

SUMMARY
The Operations Associates duties include but are not limited to the following: order picking, packaging, shipping, hand kitting, metering and mailing products for our customers. The successful candidate must poses the following attributes: Strong attention to detail and accuracy, team player, dependable and strong work ethic. This position will assist in inventory counts and replenishing customer’s stock.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fulfill customer orders and complete transactions in WMS system.
- Follow all customer specific business rules.
- Process shipping of orders via UPS world ship, FED EX and USPS and validate accuracy of pick ticket address to shipping labels.
- Experience in stock pickers and reach truck lift experience required. Including performing daily safety inspections of all Warehouse equipment.
- Inspecting, counting and receiving materials to stock locations using WMS software.
- Monitor customer material inventory levels transfer materials from overstock locations to default pick locations.
- Alert manager to low balance level situations for customers items and packaging supplies for the warehouse.
- Perform month end customer inventory reports, validate through physical cycle counts and report – research – correct any discrepancies.
- Operate postage meter and record accurate daily balances.
- Serves as back up to manager: performing daily manager duties and overseeing staff functions in the fulfillment center when manager is out of the office.
- Ensures that the warehouse is organized and clean.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Strong knowledge of operating a computer and working within inventory software programs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office products; Excel experience is a plus.
- Complete working knowledge of UPS world-ship software, including importing and exporting of address distribution lists and tracking information.
- Ability to manage time to meet required deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 45lbs.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Excellent work references.
- Proven track record of performance and attendance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Attire is casual however no flip flops or sandals are permitted.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts - equipment and airborne particles such as dust. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
