Role:
As a Fulfillment Manager for Card Kingdom’s e-commerce line of business you are responsible for managing all end-to-end fulfillment processes so that products are delivered on time and within budget. This will entail providing tools, recommending process improvements, and communicating across shifts to ensure the fulfillment process is excellent, standardized, and performing as expected. This role will also be tasked with leading and managing a group of Supervisors, Leads, and individual contributors on the shift to ensure that the shift is executed against the Fulfillment department's goals and objectives. You will be the process owner for the fulfillment components of the business and the performance of the PM team against the goals and expectations of the fulfillment processes.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, evaluate, direct, and manage the production workflow on the PM shift (3 PM-11:30 PM)
- Responsible for overseeing tasks related to closing the warehouse each day
- Ability to own, lead and develop overall shift, its staff, and its activities
- Show genuine interest, care, and concern to establish rapport. Get to know what matters most to each employee
- Plan, monitor, manage, and optimize all tasks of the production processes including sorting, restocking, and order picking
- Coach, motivate, and drive professional development for the Fulfillment Department leadership team on the PM shift. Providing clear direction, verifying understanding, and offering ongoing feedback
- Oversee all aspects of PM shift people operations including, but not limited to hiring, training, termination, discipline, promotion, performance reviews, quarterly 1-on-1s, and ad hoc performance feedback
- Work with stakeholders in other areas of the business to resolve points of failure in fulfillment processes
- Liaising with other Managers to formulate objectives and standardization requirements
- Develop and monitor KPIs for order picking, total throughput, accuracy, and labor
- Implement policies and procedures in support of organizational goals
- Be a primary standard bearer for Card Kingdom’s vision and values
- Update and maintain process documentation and productivity tools for the production processes
- Holding weekly meetings with Supervisors and key staff
- Manage timecards and cost centers for the PM shift
- Participate in and lead projects as needed
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- A minimum of five years of experience managing a team of six or more direct reports in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills – must be clear and concise
- Proven track-record of attention to detail at multiple levels in an organization
- Ability to effectively analyze their workload, assign priorities, and maintain focus on productive endeavors
- Possesses high emotional intelligence, a stand-out when working with diverse groups of people and perspectives
- High-school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Proven track-record of attention to detail
- Top-notch time management and communication skills
- Self-motivated and self-competitive work style
- Ability to do detailed and repetitive work for extended periods of time
- Strong manual dexterity
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. regularly
- Ability to work on your feet for up to eight hours a day
- Knowledge of Magic: the Gathering cards and editions is a plus
Location / Work Schedule
- Seattle, WA through January 2024, then relocating to Monroe, WA in February 2024
- PM Shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM)
Job Type / Salary
- Full Time, scheduled 40 per work week, set shift with two consecutive weekend days.
- Exempt
- Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
