Patent Paralegal - Will Train

Posz Law Group, PLC, a boutique patent firm in Reston, VA has an immediate opening for a full-time Patent Paralegal. Our practice does not include litigation. We focus on US patent filings and prosecution of foreign applications. No paralegal certificate needed. No patent experience required but all candidates will be considered. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Full training provided.

* Bachelor’s Degree or some post-secondary education desirable.

* Excellent focus with great attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent English proofing skills
* Good listening and interpersonal skills
* Enjoy working with friendly, helpful coworkers
* Comfortable working independently mostly on the computer
* Microsoft Office experience and good PC computer skills
* Flexible with excellent attitude, professionalism and work ethic

These is a full-time, in-office position, offering competitive compensation and excellent benefits. Our offices space is large and all paralegals work in private offices. The hours are 9-5pm, 37.5 hr. work week, with no overtime required. Timeliness and reliability are a must. The work environment is business casual dress, friendly with a strong teamwork ethic.

Salary will be based on relevant experience.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00+ per year DOE.

Covid-19 Policies: the firm's Covid-19 environment exceeds CDC guidelines. Interviews are in-office not virtual, and all staffers are fully vaccinated. New hires must show proof of full vaccination to work without a mask but we provide all PPE equipment if desired. Mask required if not fully vaccinated. All paralegals are equipped to work virtually if required in the future.
