We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fry Cook to join our team. As a Fry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of fried foods in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods, including french fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, and more
- Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistent quality and taste
- Monitor fryer temperatures and adjust as needed to maintain proper cooking conditions
- Ensure that all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and is safe for consumption
- Clean and maintain fryers, grills, and other cooking equipment
- Assist with meal preparation and other kitchen duties as needed
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Fry Cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team setting
- Experience in catering or food service is a plus
- Familiarity with dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate special requests
- Proficiency with kitchen tools, including knives, fryers, grills, etc.
