We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical or dental office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary paperwork
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is highly desirable
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
