Supervisors possess strong leadership, communication and relationship skills. They are expected to support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities. This role leads other associates by coaching, giving direction and may include training, processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquiries.
Lead Day-to-day Responsibilities:
• Run lead agent reports in Opera
• Respond to guest's special requests, needs, problems, issues and concerns and accommodate groups to ensure optimal levels of guest satisfaction and repeat business.
• Check room inventory for any oversold room types and communicate to agents about room type concerns for the day.
• Review any room moves and we-care guests. Ensure all room moves are completed.
• Review No Shows from last night and review any group no shows with meeting planners.
• Regularly monitor online check-in guests to ensure program is set up for success.
• Ensure housekeeping discrepant rooms are being properly checked out and all queued reservations are being properly monitored.
• Block VIP arrivals for the day and ensure all suites are properly blocked at least 5 days out.
• Review potential length of stay issues by reviewing rooms that will only allow for a 1-night reservation to be blocked.
• Run and confirm deposits are properly processed from the third-party reservations.
• Ensure all open folios are closed within 72 hours of the guest's departure.
• Set up routing for reservations that has credit card authorizations.
• Run authorizations and review outstanding balances on reservations
• Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
