Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Front of House area, including the dining room, bar, and banquets
- Ensure excellent customer service by training and supervising Front of House staff
- Manage and maintain inventory of supplies, including coffee, beverages, and utensils
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers
- Create employee schedules and manage shift rotations to ensure adequate coverage
- Monitor and manage cash handling procedures, including cash register reconciliation and deposits
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for Front of House staff
Skills:
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment
- Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing and payment handling
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, staff, and vendors
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and customer reservations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely
