THE ROLE

ProService Engineers are building next generation Human Resources software that will empower employers to succeed by being the best at HR for the markets that we serve. As a Front-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and performant user interfaces for our web and mobile applications. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate design concepts into elegant and intuitive user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience. Leveraging your expertise in Front End technologies and best practices, you will play a key role in driving the evolution of our front-end architecture and frameworks.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into functional UI components.
• Develop responsive and cross-browser front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with proficiency in modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Optimize front-end performance and accessibility to ensure seamless and inclusive user experience across all devices and platforms.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance code quality and maintainability.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in UI development, and advocate for their adoption within the organization. .
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to ensure thorough testing and validation of front-end components to deliver high-quality software products.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents in a timely manner, troubleshoot issues, and implement remediation measures to restore service.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

• A passion for good, accessible, and performant user interfaces.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a focus on building complex user interfaces.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with expertise in at least on modern UI framework/library(e.g. REACT.js, Angular, or Vue.js)
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
• Experience with Agile development, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and automated testing suites.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The base compensation for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications.
