At Anark our Front-End Software Engineer (Graphics) is responsible for the development of web viewers (3D and 2D) for viewing and interacting with rich technical content and associated graphical authoring tools. This position works with a team of motivated engineers to plan software releases that adhere to customer requirements within business-acceptable timeframes.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing Graphics Software on the web. As a Graphics Engineer will be responsible for the development of web viewers (3D and 2D) for viewing and interacting with rich technical content in Anark Collaborate platform. Engineer will also work on the implementation of graphical authoring tools for collaboration, measurement etc.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Experience with 3D and 2D graphics-oriented web development.
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript programming skills.
- Strong professional experience with WebGL and ThreeJS.
- 3D basic understanding of polygonal mesh data, scene graphs, DAGs, and transformation matrices.
Desired Skills (Which combo do you bring?)
- Programming experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, C++/CLI, or similar languages such as Java.
- Experience developing graphical authoring software tools.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
- Basic knowledge of automated testing, such as writing unit tests.
- Proficiency in web development using ReactJS or Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap.
- Proficiency with Docker containers.
- Responsive web design experience.
Required Education
- BS in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
