PURPOSE/FUNCTION: To assist the Area Director with all aspects of customer service and Front Desk. The Front Desk is the first and last impression that members and prospective members see as they enter and exit the club. Customer service is key when welcoming and assisting parents, members and prospective members. This position is an important step in providing a clean and safe environment for members and prospective members by verifying membership status.
JOBS SUPERVISED:
- Customer Service and Front Desk
- Hiring, coaching, and training new staff
- Motivating and coaching current staff
- Completing Front Desk Schedules
- Shift fulfillment or emergency call ins
- Work together with your team to reach monthly department goals
- Complete daily/weekly sales and inventory reports
- Product Quality Management – ensuring all product on hand are with the expiration date by properly rotating product or contacting Area Director for sales/specials to move products at risk of expiring
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly FD reports
- Any other tasks handed down from the Area Director
STATUS: The Company shall pay Employee an hourly rate of $11.38, per hour for the services of the Employee, payable at regular payroll periods. Hours may be increased or decreased based on the season, sales projections, etc.
BENEFITS
VACATION: During first year of employment Employee will accrue vacation time for each payroll period that Employee meets minimum required hours (75 hours per pay-period) to total one (1) full week at the end of the one-year anniversary. Every pay period after the first year the Employee will accrue vacation hours for each payroll period that Employee meets minimum required hours to total two (2) weeks’ vacation per anniversary year. Vacation or time off may be denied for any reason deemed fit by the Company and may not be taken from October thru April.

If you meet eligibility requirements at the end of 12 months you will be automatically enrolled in the plan at 4% on a pre-tax basis. This means that at each payroll period, a deduction of your before and after-tax contributions will be automatically contributed to the plan and invested in the Target Date Series that most closely matches a projected retirement age of 65. National Fitness Center LLC will match the participants percentage up to 4%.
HOLIDAYS:
After completion of a 90-day probationary period. The following are recognized holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. National Fitness Center is open 362 days per year (closed for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), with some additional holidays operating at reduced hours. The employee shall receive bonus pay equal to 8 hours of current hourly rate for each holiday recognized in which the employee does not work. The employee may be required to work on certain holidays and/or at reduced holiday hours.
INSURANCE: After completion of a 90-day probationary period, the Customer Service Director may choose to enroll in the company insurance program. The Customer Service Director can meet with the HR director to discuss the insurance program and premiums.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP: The Customer Service Director will receive a free Premier All Access membership and his/her immediate family will receive a free Basic family membership. The Premier All Access membership includes the following amenities. Unlimited access to the following: hydro bed massage, tanning, group fitness classes including core Barre and PHIIT, classes.
