FRONT DESK SALES
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Desk Sales person to join our team at Joanna Vargas.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming and professional Front Desk experience for our guests, managing appointments, promoting and selling spa services, and working collaboratively with service providers to ensure that our clients have a seamless experience at Joanna Vargas.
The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong sales background and be able to meet sales targets while providing exceptional customer service. You should be able to multitask, work well under pressure and have excellent problem-solving skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner
2. Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
3. Providing exceptional customer service and support, including responding to product/service inquiries and resolving issues or complaints
4. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients and colleagues
5. Maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction
6. Building and maintaining relationships with clients, including regular follow-up communication and sending information on new promotions
7. Managing client appointments and schedules for estheticians
8. Processing payments, rends, and exchanges using Boulevard
9. Offering packages to clients based on their needs communicated by the estheticians
10. Creating a plan with the estheticians for client outreach and sales
11. Collaborating with service providers and managers to ensure the smooth operation of the business
12. Identifying and contacting potential returning customers or clients by performing a client outreach
13. Participating in sales meetings and training sessions to improve sales skills and techniques
14. Meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals set by management
15. Ensuring that service providers receive an accurate service and product VSD
COMPETENCIES
● Sales skills: The ability to sell spa products and services to potential clients and to upsell to existing clients.
● Customer service: The ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients, including greeting them warmly, answering their questions, and addressing their concerns.
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and management.
● Organization: Strong organizational skills are essential to keep track of appointments, inventory, and client information.
● Time management: The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks is necessary to ensure that clients are served in a timely and efficient manner.
● Technical skills: Proficiency with computer soware and point of sale systems is important for scheduling appointments, processing payments, and managing inventory.
● Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a team, including communicating with her team members, sharing information, and supporting colleagues.
● Attention to detail: The ability to pay close attention to detail is important for ensuring that client information is accurate and that appointments are scheduled correctly.
● Professionalism: Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times is necessary for building trust with clients and representing the spa in a positive manner.
● Knowledge of spa industry: Knowledge of the spa industry, including services, products, and trends, is important to provide knowledgeable recommendations to clients and effectively sell spa products and services.

● Associates Degree or equivalent (preferred)
● Customer Service: 2 Years (required)
● Salon/Spa Industry: 2 Years (preferred)
