Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental or medical office setting, possess strong clerical skills, and be proficient in computerized systems.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify insurance information and collect necessary paperwork
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Coordinate office events and manage event planning logistics
- Provide administrative support to the dental team, including typing correspondence, filing documents, and organizing office supplies
- Utilize Google Suite or similar software to manage calendars, emails, and documents
- Serve as a personal assistant to the dentist or office manager as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office is highly preferred
- Proficient in computerized systems, including knowledge of dental software programs
- Strong clerical skills with the ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
