Front Desk Receptionist/Dental Assistant

Fast paced office in Riverside is looking for the right candidate to join our family!

Duties include:

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate department or staff member
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect patient information and update medical records using Dentrix software
- Ensure accurate medical documentation and coding for billing purposes
- Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk area
- Handle patient inquiries, provide information, and address concerns or complaints

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, particularly in pediatrics, is a plus
- Familiarity with Dentrix software or other electronic medical records systems is desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite

We offer competitive pay based on experience. This is a part-time position with opportunities for career growth within our organization. Hours are from 10 A.M.-5P.M, but we are willing to be flexible with the hours for the right fit. We do work one Saturday a month from 8AM-1PM.
