About the position
This position will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Agora team. The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, be highly organized and have excellent people skills.
Responsibilities
- Promptly answer telephone calls energetically while providing superior customer service.
- Ensure calls are forwarded to appropriate personnel or voicemail boxes.
- Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office
- Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
- Evaluate office workflow, revise procedures, or devise new forms to improve efficiency of workflow.
- Perform basic bookkeeping activities and update the accounting system
- Manage incoming mail and route to appropriate person.
- Manage incoming customer service email and route emails to appropriate team member.
- Maintain files and records with effective filing systems
- Maintain Kitchen & Demo area (load/unload dishwasher, wipe down counters, etc. as necessary)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or Administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Experience in customer service will be a plus.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and office management systems and procedures
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and QuickBooks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Reliable with patience and professionalism

Qualifications

Education/Experience
Associate’s/College degree; BSc/Ba in business administration or relevant field is a plusHigh School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

None required.

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, invoices, SOP's and instructions; write routine reports and correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one situation and small group situations to customers or vendors, and other employees.
Math Skills
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; compute rate, ratio, discounts, interest and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to identify problems and escalate them.

Pay: $23.40 - $25.50 per hour
