SalaryResponsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
- Verify insurance information and assist with billing
- Positing and collecting fees
- Sending X-rays, referrals, letters
- Collecting accounts payable for both patients and third-party insurances, sending statements, emails, phone calls to keep accounts current
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, emailing, faxing, and data entry, letters and correspondence with both patients and other offices
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Strong in-person and phone service skills with consistent, positive and service oriented verbal skills the ability to handle maintain a 99% answered call rate
- Knowledge of insurance billing
- Proficiency in medical/dental scheduling software preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner, adapts to changes well
- Dependable, knowledgeable and works well under pressure
- Experience working in a medical office or dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with various office systems to manage patient records efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
