Front Desk Receptionist

Job description

Skin Spa Asheville is looking for a part-time receptionist. You will be the point of contact for all guests entering the spa and be inquiring about their overall experience and satisfaction while in the spa and our retail area.

Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the guest experience, check-in and check-out area, and retail store.

• Overseeing the guest's experience
• Overseeing retail area
• Booking appointments

Guest experience is also a key role: making sure guests have a 5-star spa experience, helping with orientating guests to the spa facilities, greeting guests as they enter the spa, and providing personalized guest service throughout their visit. The right candidate will be outgoing, positive, and able to handle issues gracefully and professionally.

Additional Duties:

• Help answer all incoming phone calls
• Help with booking appointments
• Checking spa text messages and voicemails
• Next day follow up with clients
• Ensure the retail area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)
• Light cleaning duties

Requirements:

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Proven work experience as a receptionist
• Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Discretion and confidentiality

Skills

• Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Excellent organizational skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Customer service attitude
• High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus

Job Type:

We are looking for one full-time employee (4 days per week) and one part-time( 2 days per week).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $17.00 per hour
