Job Description
- Open and close office according to office protocol
- Review the office and patient waiting area for a neat and professional appearance
- Greet and welcome patients/visitors to the practice
- Check in patients, verifying and updating patient demographics including insurance information
- Help to explain the office policies to patients
- Answer phones, assisting patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule patient appointments
- Collect payments from patients
- Receipt and posting of patient copays and payments
- Schedule follow-up appointments as needed
- Confirm appointments
- Daily review and processing of emails
- Maintain daily and future hygiene/operative schedules using computer and reports
- Mail welcome packets
- Scan patient records
- Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel for miscellaneous letters and projects
- Work additional software for online scheduling of appointments
- Other duties as assigned by Office Manager/Doctors to insure efficient operation of the office
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
