Front Desk Receptionist

Medical Front Desk Receptionist - Full-Time

Westland, Michigan

Looking for an outgoing, professional, and courteous candidate. Representing the clinic practice with excellent communication skills as a first point of contact both in person and on the phone.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in answering phones and schedule both new and returning appointments.
• Obtain necessary patient registration information, verify eligibility.
• Accurately enter patient's demographics via EMR.
• Collect applicable copays from patients and electronically post to patient's account.
• Balance cash drawer.
• Scan information into medical records.
• Prepare new paperwork for patient appointments.
• Help referral coordinator with directing and scheduling outside appointments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalency required. Knowledge of medical terminology desired. Minimum of two years prior medical receptionist and/or medical office experience required.
