We're actively seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Coordinator to become a vital part of our team, playing a key role in crafting beautiful smiles for our patients.

As the first point of contact for our patients, the Front Desk Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for helping others!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor as they arrive at the office.
• Manage patient appointments, including scheduling new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
• Assist patients in scheduling emergency appointments and provide appropriate guidance in urgent situations.
• Utilize a multi-line phone system efficiently to manage call volumes and prioritize urgent matters.
• Answer phone calls and emails promptly and courteously, providing assistance and addressing inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Handle patient inquiries regarding treatment plans, insurance coverage, billing, and payment options with patience and professionalism.
• Document phone conversations accurately in patient records and relay important information to the clinical team in a timely manner.
• Verify insurance orthodontic benefit coverage and process patient paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk area.
• Support other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.

• Proficiency in basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with dental/medical software preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Open Dental software and Google Drive preferred.

Salary:

• $18.00-$22.00

Experience:

• Customer Service in a dental setting: 1+ years

Work Location: In person, Grand Rapids location.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
