Front Desk Agent
Job Description:
The Front Desk Agent will greet and check in guests, provide information about the property, and answer questions. They will also take guest requests, check them out, and leave messages for guests to let them know they were satisfied with their stay. The Front Desk Agent will work closely with the Sales Manager and General Manager to provide a professional and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Essential Job Functions:
- Greeting guests in a timely, friendly manner
- Check guests in and out of the hotel
- Answer phones, take messages, or redirect calls to appropriate staff members as needed
- Maintain the cleanliness of all reception areas; including but not limited to breakfast areas, restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen area
- Ensure reception area is stocked with all necessary items to support a welcoming environment for our guests
- Provide information about the property to guests, including amenities and access points.
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager or Hotel Manager.
Skills Needed:
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve quickly and efficiently while remaining positive and professional demeanor at all times
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend over, reach with arms and hands throughout shift
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
