As a Front Desk Associate, the ideal candidate will be the “face” of Connecticut Valley Orthodontics and will most importantly, have a smile on their face and in their voice as they care for our current and prospective patients in person and on the phone in our exceptionally busy office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Be the best part of the patients’ day
- Greet and welcome patients and their family
- Answer multiple phones lines and emails in a courteous and professional manner
- Schedule Appointments
- Answer questions and address concerns
- Collect and Post Payments
- Assist patients with completing all necessary forms and documentation
- Build rapport with patients with a strong focus on personalized service
- Update patient records and files
- Merge and send patient correspondence
- Responsible for protecting patient’s privacy by maintaining confidentiality of personal information (HIPAA compliant)
- Keep Front Desk and reception area organized and clean
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, Outlook and Word)
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping
This is an entry level position with the potential for performance-based advancement.
This is a 38-40 hour, full time, seated position Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. Office hours vary from 6:45 am.-6:00 pm. This position will also include travel to our Storrs office 1-2 days per week.
