As a Front Desk Associate, the ideal candidate will be the “face” of Connecticut Valley Orthodontics and will most importantly, have a smile on their face and in their voice as they care for our current and prospective patients in person and on the phone in our exceptionally busy office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Be the best part of the patients’ day
• Greet and welcome patients and their family
• Answer multiple phones lines and emails in a courteous and professional manner
• Schedule Appointments
• Answer questions and address concerns
• Collect and Post Payments
• Assist patients with completing all necessary forms and documentation
• Build rapport with patients with a strong focus on personalized service
• Update patient records and files
• Merge and send patient correspondence
• Responsible for protecting patient’s privacy by maintaining confidentiality of personal information (HIPAA compliant)
• Keep Front Desk and reception area organized and clean

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, Outlook and Word)
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping

This is an entry level position with the potential for performance-based advancement.

This is a 38-40 hour, full time, seated position Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. Office hours vary from 6:45 am.-6:00 pm. This position will also include travel to our Storrs office 1-2 days per week.
