Front Desk Associate

Our Front Desk Associate is responsible for creating a warm, friendly environment. This person welcomes every child and parent with a smile and ensures that every appointment gets off to a great start. This team member is the first face of Black Hills Pediatric Dentistry and will exemplify maturity, integrity, compassion, and teamwork at all times. We are child focused and possess a will do attitude.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Check-in, check -out and answer questions the patient/parent has
• Collect and process personal data and insurance information for the family
• Schedule appointments for new and established patients
• Confidently speak with parents and collect various forms of payment as needed
• Adhere to strict confidentiality and privacy policies
• Operating a computer and various office equipment
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment and personal appearance
• Answer phone calls directed to the Front Desk
• Assist with administrative tasks as assigned

Skills required

• Ability to multi-task with interruptions throughout the day
• Heart for putting the child first
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of various computer applications and general clerical procedures
• Willingness to work with team to ensure data accuracy/completeness

Fluent in Spanish a plus
