Position:Front Desk Staff

Reports To: Office Manager

Purpose: The Front Desk Staff will be responsible for different receptionist and clerical duties. Some of the duties include answering questions, offering customer support, and guiding and advising members/guests. As a YMCA staff, you should promote the mission and philosophies of the Y while assisting our members/guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet, communicate with, and welcome members/guest
• Answer all questions and address complaints
• Answer all incoming calls, and redirect them when needed
• Sign up members/guests for membership or programs
• Receive letters, and packages and send them to the appropriate destination
• Report in a timely manner
• Maintain an appropriate, professional appearance
• File Paperwork

Hours: Weekdays Monday-Thursday 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Availability to cover other shifts if needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $8.50 - $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
