Our oral surgery practice is looking for a motivated individual to join the Front Desk team in our new Lenexa office!
Monday- Thursday 7:30-4:30, Friday 7:00-3:30. No Weekend or Evening hours!
This is a full-time (hourly, non-exempt) position at our new Lenexa location: 23351 Prairie Star Parkway # A135 Lenexa, KS 66227.
Must be willing to float between Prairie Village, Olathe, and Lenexa locations for training.

You are an individual who has developed strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Your excellent verbal and written communication skills mean that you work well in a close team environment.
With your strong grasp of professional appearance and attitude, along with your superior customer service skills, you have learned how to multi-task without losing your cool.
What you will do:
- Answer busy multi-line phone system
- Check patients in/out
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Collect co-pays and patient balances
- Answer patient questions
- Generate pre-treatment estimates for patients as requested
- Submit insurance pre-determinations and prior authorizations
- Present treatment plans to patients at consultation appointments
- Process insurance claims
- Complete patient charts
- Post patient payments
- Prepare daily bank deposit
- Maintain all patient recall
- Input patient information along with notes into the dental system
- Prepare and send thank you letters to referring doctors after patient care
- Track and file test results, films and reports prior to appointments
- Understand and adhere to all insurance referral guidelines
- Order office supplies and equipment as needed
- Other duties as assigned
