Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ASC Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned healthcare professional with strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. The ASC administrator will be a role model for staff, and a collaborator with the physicians, to ensure the delivery of exemplary patient care. The ASC Administrator is responsible for leading the daily clinical and operational functions of the Surgery Center; establishing and maintaining clinical standards of care; managing staff and resources; facilitating and maintaining compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations; and creating a culture of teamwork and respect.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Oversee all aspects of ASC operations, including staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to maintain compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and monitor operating budgets, financial performance metrics, and revenue cycle management processes.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, families, and referring physicians to enhance the reputation and growth of the ASC.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards (e.g., AAAHC, CMS).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and revenue cycle management.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration, with specific experience in ambulatory Surgery Center management.
  • Certified Surgery Center Ambulatory (CASC) preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering against annual financial and operational plans.
  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft software including an ability to effectively work in Excel.
