Pulso is a Latino-led social enterprise dedicated to raising up and keeping the pulse on nuestra gente. We build deep digital relationships with Latino folks through their phones in order to transform civic engagement and build political power.
Pulso attracts and engages Latinos through our innovative Latinx history and news service, via Facebook Messenger, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter and The Pulso Podcast. With this daily relationship and by telling the stories that have shaped our community, Pulso connects more than 1 million U.S.-based Latinos/as/x with our history and encourages subscribers to take action on critical issues, register to vote, and to cast their votes on Election Day.

Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Supervising Podcast Producer to join our team and play a crucial role in the management and production of Season Five of The Pulso Podcast. This individual will collaborate closely with the Executive Director, freelance audio engineer, and freelance producer and co-host of The Pulso Podcast to ensure we meet our production timeline and lean production and distribution of the show.
Responsibilities:
Project Manage the show including production schedule, Episode Progress, hosting platform, promotion planning, & strategizing how to use content of the show across Pulso Platforms
- Facilitate Host recording sessions
- Attend Podcast Production Meetings (approximately 2 hrs per week)
- Pitch and green-light new episode ideas
- Produce Episodes
- Provide feedback and editing on producer scripts
Adhere to Pulso’s standards and internal processes related to content creation, ensuring consistent updates and maintenance of relevant systems of record.
We are seeking an individual who:
Has a minimum of 4 years of experience in podcast production and management
- Possesses a deep understanding of the interests and issues of the U.S based Latino Community
Demonstrates a willingness to learn, iterate, pivot, and experiment alongside the team
Is committed to advancing progressive social change
Experience with Descript & Pro Tools is a plus
