Are you a creative video Content Creator with a flair for all things Pop Culture, sports, and entertainment? We're looking for talented individuals who are immersed in creating video content or eager to jump into the spotlight. As a Pop Culture News Creator, you'll be at the forefront of delivering engaging and insightful content to our audience, covering everything from entertainment to sports and beyond.
We are looking to bring on multiple news creators to host digital news shows primarily on our Snapchat properties and across Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. We realize the future of digital video lies with the creators, so we want to partner with the best and brightest news creators and build shows with them. If you are an established or aspiring news & commentary creator or are seeking a career in entertainment news, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Self-produce captivating and high-quality video segments with energy and authority.
- Report stories entertainingly and accurately using scripts provided by our team of producers.
- Produce up to 6 videos per week, with a few hours or less turnaround time.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in Pop Culture, ensuring that our content remains fresh, relevant, and appealing to our audience.
- Utilize Gen Z trends and keywords to optimize content for our audience.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure high-quality output that aligns with our brand identity and standards.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience or interest in video content creation, focusing on Pop Culture. Provide examples of your work showcasing your ability to produce engaging and well-researched content.
- A deep passion for a wide range of Pop Culture topics, including but not limited to movies, TV sports, music, fashion, and celebrities.
- Strong storytelling skills to produce compelling and visually appealing video content.
- Familiarity with Gen Z audience preferences and the ability to tailor content accordingly.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently while also being able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team and explore potential growth opportunities.
This is a part time freelance position with compensation paid per video and dependent on experience.
