Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the management and delivery of Audio/Visual technology related solutions in ultra-high visibility fast-moving installation projects.
Responsibilities:
Participate within DCA’s Project Management Office as we manage our portfolio of projects within Northern and Southern California, and across the country.
Plan and implement large Audio/Visual projects in the Corporate Communications and Media and Entertainment markets utilizing DCA project management tools.
Participate in customer facing meetings and represent DCA to clients and vendors
Coordinate full time and part time resources including installers, supervisors, subcontractors and vendors
Direct the technical work of the Audio/Visual Installation staff
Knowledge and experience in executing A/V integration project plans
Lead and manage the efforts of Procurement and Engineering resources – cite necessary equipment for timely purchase and delivery.
Ensure deadlines and cost targets are met
Responsible for Financial wellness and success of the overall project
Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
Qualifications:
5+ experience as a Project Manager in Audio/Visual or technology integration
Strong project management skills, PMP Certification a plus
DCA uses the Critical Chain Project Management methodologies. Extra points for applicants who have knowledge and experience using this and the other TOC tools.
Strong analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Deadline and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects; remaining on budget and on time
Strong leadership qualities; focus on relationship management with team leadership expertise,
Excellent and articulate communicator
Well versed in identifying risks and applying risk mitigations
Ability to diagnose and resolve conflicts to prevent escalation
Proactive planner that can operate in a data-driven environment
Proficiency with multiple computer operating systems and software applications especially Microsoft 365
Knowledge of Project Management software, including Gantt Charts and spreadsheets, Preferred familiarity of Project Management software packages (and theories) such as Exepron
Flexible; able to adapt based on fluctuating circumstances, astutely able to reroute resources to achieve maximum benefit to project(s) when necessary
