Triple V (https://www.triple3v.org/) is seeking an Associate Project Coordinator for a direct hire position in the La Jolla area. This is an onsite role with operations Tuesday through Saturdays, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

About the role:
The Associate Project Coordinator, who will report to the Operations Manager in this new role, will start supporting projects with our offshore App Dev team. To best understand our App Dev needs, the ideal candidate will have experience working with youth/peers in positions such as peer counselor, philanthropy chair, student advisor, new student orientation teams, etc. This is an excellent opportunity to move into a Project Management role with a team who is growing and doing great things in the community!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

What will you have to be successful:
- Time Management - Ability to manage projects from start to finish, whether individually or collectively. This role will work with the Dev team to coordinate project schedules and plan to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Leadership—Ability to coordinate the work needed with a diverse group of people, including volunteers, board members, independent contractors, and employees. This could include on- and off-shore teammates.
- Attention to Detail – Must be detail-oriented and able to find/correct document, system, and calendar errors. Be adaptable to make changes as needs or organizational requirements are updated.
- Communication—Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to internal teams and external stakeholders. Comfortable interacting with diverse populations and professionally representing your team or the organization. Ability to communicate any successes or issues that may arise with the team/organization.

- Flexibility—This role will primarily work with the Application Development team, but it should also be able to work on different projects that could fall into different organizational areas, including Outreach, Fundraising, and Research.

What will your experience and education look like:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Education, Arts & Culture or a similar degree preferred.
- Previous experience with mobile application development - this is not a hands-on coder role. Preferable dev exposure with both iOS and Android. This could be school project-based, formal work, or just your own pet project.
- Understanding of how to manage non-local team members.
- Previous leadership experience. Will consider Volunteering, Fundraising, Education, and Service Projects in High School or College/University programs.
- Previous experience with mentorship and/or research.
- Prior nonprofit experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Onsite, Indoor office setting.
- Frequent use of office equipment, including computer, keyboard, and mouse.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. at a time, remain stationary for extended periods, and push, pull, and bend as necessary.
- Occasional travel to schools - travel is reimbursed.
