General Responsibilities/Job Summary
The Franchise Operations Consultant plays a critical role in the Franchising Department at Mighty Distributing System. This position will provide operational support and training to our franchise sales efforts and be a project manager for onboarding new franchise partners to ensure a successful launch. This person will also provide training, guidance, and support to our current franchise partners from our Home Office and in the field.
Support Franchise Sales Activities
- Work with franchise development team to evaluate prospective franchise prospects and assess the viability of acquiring a Mighty franchise
- Create pro forma financial projections to determine the financial viability of prospective new Mighty businesses
- Identify and develop initial inventory requirements for new franchisees
- Provide operational support to incoming franchisees as part of their onboarding process
Support Current Franchises
- Identify operational and financial deficiencies and develop solutions for improvement
- Train franchise employees in inventory management processes
- Train franchises in financial reporting
- Train franchises in Autopart and inventory computer basics
- Monitor performance benchmarks and provide counsel to franchise management to improve performance at the franchise level
- Customer relationship manager
Analysis of System-wide Performance Metrics and KPI’s
- Create reports and dashboards for management use at Home Office and for Mighty franchisees
- Monitor franchise financial compliance and performance and provide appropriate feedback to Home Office and franchisees
Other Activities to Include:
- Financial analysis of “Best Practices” group – IMPACT
- Create financial analysis for use in benchmarking in the Item 19 of Mighty’s Financial Disclosure Document
- Participate in Franchisee Business Review Process

Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel. Ability and desire to learn how to create reports and dashboards within our business intelligence program, MicroStrategy. Analytical skills to summarize large data sets into reports and dashboards. The ability to lift more than 40 pounds and willingness to get your hands dirty.
Experience
Ideal Candidate would have:
- Bachelor's degrees
- 1 - 2 years in customer centric role with a sense of urgency.
- 1 - 2 years of operational experience (warehouse or distribution center) is a plus.
Working Conditions
Daily office hours are generally from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with occasional weekend responsibilities. Domestic travel in the 25% - 35% range is required.
Authority
The Operations Analyst will report to the Director of Franchise Operations. Resources will be allocated, and authority given to carry out the responsibilities of this position.
