Throughout the 12-week program, you will collaborate with some of the best in the industry, receive on-the-job training, participating in professional development workshops, executive speaker series, and other networking and social events!

 

How You’ll Help Us Connect the World

As a FPGA Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for working on Small Cell radio access points as part of the Networking, Intelligent Cellular & Security group. You will work closely with our FPGA Engineering department and engineers to design, implement, integrate, and test the automation software for LTE and 5GNR radio access points. Preference will be given to candidates based in Lowell, MA

 

You Will Make an Impact By

  • Developing Python based test automation software for radio access points.
  • Documenting the test automation procedures.
  • Testing the radio access points and documenting the test results.

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Actively pursuing a bachelor’s (upcoming sophomores, juniors & seniors) or master’s degree in the Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university
  • Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Solid understanding of Python and Matlab.
  • Knowledge of RTL and Parsing algorithms.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
  • Military-Affiliated candidates encouraged to apply (Veterans, Military Spouses, and Guard/Reservists)

 

You Will Excite Us If You

  • Possess knowledge of wireless systems, particularly LTE and 5GNR.
  • Have exposure on Networking domain (basics on wired/wireless networking).
  • Have knowledge of test equipment, scripting, and automated test procedures.
  • Have the sbility to create test cases based on requirements specifications.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Show innovation through unique ideas and propose them to the team
  • Are able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
  • Possess strategic and creative thinking; distinguished written and verbal communications skills
  • Have strong initiative; are a self-starter with analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment and flexible to changing priorities
