The Sr. Analyst -Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for supporting the VGNA FP&A & ICPO leader in preparing timely and effective analyses for financial reporting for Vehicle Group North America. This role will be responsible to provide actionable insights to ensure a solid decision-making process within both Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle organizations. This role is essential for an effective financial management, risk assessment and overall business success.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105,000.00-$154,000.00 a year.

What you'll do:
- Prepare VGNA consolidation commentary and variance analysis each month-end and rolling forecast for both Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle organizations, combining knowledge of accounting and business operations to deliver valuable information
- Meet all weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting deadlines, communicating results effectively to drive a timely and effective decision making process
- Analyze trends in key performance indicators, including financial metrics such as sales, costs, profit, productivity and CONC
- Develop and continually improve forecasting process and communication tools
- Collaborate with operations finance peers and with the materials department to accurately forecast the DOH and gross inventory and to explain variances at month-end and roll to roll, driving actions to meet the working capital and cash flow targets
- Play a key role to the VGNA's annual Profit Plan process
- Perform ad hoc analysis as needed
- Identify opportunities and participate in BPI and continues improvement teams as necessary
- Support finance transformation and centralization initiatives
- Establish and maintain an environment of cooperation, standardization and sharing across the region, collaborating with various departments within the organization, including operations, sales, marketing, treasury, and accounting.
- Work with accounting team, E2E and GFSS to reconcile and maintain P&L and balance sheet for regional ledgers, analyzing and providing commentaries on main fluctuations
Qualifications:
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years of work experience
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
Skills:
- Effective communication skills inclusive of influencing cross functional teams
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial analyses/reports
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI), with Oracle and ENCORE reporting systems
- Broad general product and business knowledge in order to adequately interpret operating results
