The Senior Financial Analyst FP&A role will support the Revenue Growth Management organization by providing key reporting deliverables related to Revenue, Trade, and other P&L line items that impact Net Net Sales. In this role the Senior Analyst will provide periodic reporting and validations to meet period end close objectives, as well as develop long term process automation to improve the speed and quality of non-reported metrics. There will also be opportunities in this role to connect with field sales finance colleagues and expand our current reporting capabilities to support their goals. A key feature of this team will be the quick adoption and deployment of new and unique technological solutions to meet the needs of our cross-functional partners.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Analyze and deliver a monthly forecast for all P&L lines above NNS to RGM finance leaders
  • Validate trade accrual posting on a monthly basis by collaborating with the Osprey and Globe teams
  • Provide variance analysis for Day 1 pre-NNS items to the VP of Sales Finance for ledger close
  • Lead the monthly trade compliance meeting, providing guidance to the field finance team on trade event hygiene and other financial compliance topics
  • Provide finance-relevant guidance to Osprey COC and technology teams to ensure accurate Osprey-generated postings (support Osprey testing annual cycles as a finance representative)
  • Proactively refine and improve all modeling and automation associated with owned deliverables
  • Collaborate with the field finance team to identify widely applicable opportunities to develop or improve reporting capabilities

Qualifications
  • BA/BS with major in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or related
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics
  • Advanced computer based analytical skills and knowledge of analytic software packages (Excel, Power Bi, etc…)
  • Advanced financial acumen; experience working with P&L postings and analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or other graduate finance degree
  • Proficiency with a data-analysis related programming language (Python, R, SQL, etc…)
  • Proficiency with Power Query
  • Experience with sales or trade data, preferably Nestlé specific
  • Detailed understanding of accrual logic
  • Knowledge and understanding of Nestlé Accounting Standards
Skills
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and strong analytical problem-solving skills; ability to develop multi-step logic sequences to manipulate and categorize data from nonhomogeneous sources.
  • Desire and ability to learn new software packages and programming languages on an on-going basis.
  • Ability to Independently and reliably execute deliverables on a periodic basis with minimal supervision.
  • Confidence to deliver financial direction and analysis to senior leadership.
