Position Summary
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for managing the headcount and operating expense planning process, conducting budget vs actuals reconciliation for operating expenses, and establishing strong business partnerships with budget owners and market general managers. The role will have a proven track record of budget ownership and have the ability to provide financial support and analysis to key leaders. This role will also be responsible for coaching and a financial analyst in support of the above objectives.
Essential Functions
- Manage the headcount and operating expense planning process, including the development of annual operating expense budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly updates.
- Conduct budget vs actuals reconciliation for operating expenses, and provide meaningful variance analysis to senior management.
- Establish strong business partnerships with budget owners, and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders in driving financial performance.
- Work closely with market general managers to understand the financial performance of their business, and provide financial analysis and insights to drive profitable growth.
- Manage a financial analyst, and provide coaching and mentoring to develop their skills and capabilities.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Accounting, BI, and Operations, to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Directly support financial close processes, KPI reporting, and ad hoc analysis for the Express and Direct+ business units
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in corporate finance, with a focus on financial planning and analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adaptive Insights
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
