The associate will work directly with the ecoCFO FP&A Director to build tailored financial models for our clients' unique needs. The associate will partner with ecoCFO clients to produce and prepare monthly forecasts and budgets, track them against actual performance, and deliver insights to our clients' executive management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client tailored financial models.
- Develop financial presentations and assist with analytical support for board meetings.
- Analyze financial results and prepare financial reports and dashboards.
- Build custom models for ad hoc reporting and analysis.
- Structure, analyze, and compare financial metrics, charts, and other key performance indicators.
- Provide support to ecoCFO controllers during the month-end close process.
- Be able to perform responsibilities on a flexible schedule to accommodate peak periods during quarter-end or planning cycles.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree Finance or Accounting
- 3+ years of FP&A, Accounting or Financial Analyst experience
- Experience building financial models in MS Excel & Google Sheets
- Experience with GAAP vs. cash accounting and forecasting treatment or methods
- Familiarity with valuation methods, cap table mechanics, and financing vehicles is preferred
- MBA or CPA preferred
- Experience in public accounting or investment banking preferred
